Christmas Craft Market raises over £4,500

The festive season started with a flourish at our Christmas Craft Market on Saturday, 16 November 2024. We’re hailing this year’s event as our best yet, raising an impressive £4,500 so far, with more donations still coming in.

The market brought together the local community in a celebration of creativity, generosity, and holiday spirit. Visitors enjoyed browsing twelve beautifully presented craft stalls, indulging in delicious homemade cakes and refreshments, and visiting Santa’s Grotto. Highlights also included our Christmas raffle and popular hospice retail stall offering Christmas cards, unique gifts and decorations.

“We are absolutely thrilled with the success of this year’s Christmas Craft Market,” said Michele Gard, Charity Director at Countess of Brecknock Hospice. “The generosity and enthusiasm of our local community never ceases to amaze me. Events like this not only raise vital funds for the hospice but also showcase the incredible support that helps us continue to provide compassionate care for our patients and their families. Thank you to everyone who made it possible!”

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to support the market. The community’s contributions make a real difference to the care and support we can provide.

A special thank you goes to:

  • The hospice’s wonderful volunteers for their time, energy, and support on the stalls.
  • Andover Santa Cruises for inviting Santa along to the Grotto.
  • Simply Health for donating three stunning hampers for the raffle.
  • Go Fudge Yo’self for their generous sweet treats hamper donation.
  • Russells Removals for their invaluable help with setting up the event.

Next year’s Christmas Craft Market will be held on the 15 November 2025. Details of raffle prize winners can be found on our website. Find out more here.
