May fundraising spotlight

We are always so grateful to our wonderful supporters who help to raise vital funds for the hospice, helping us to continue to support our patients and their families. This month, we’d like to thank the following people and groups for their generous support:

  • Thanks to everyone who helped us raise nearly £500 by buying one of the lovely knitted Easter Chicks made by our fantastic supporter Sheila and to Leigh Williams Windows Limited for supplying the Creme Eggs.
  • Staff at Tesco River Way in Andover raised £1,160 from a colleague sale of discounted end of line stock.
  • The Eagles Skittle League invited our staff along to a skittles & curry night and raised over £700 for the hospice at the same time.
  • Following a presentation by the Charity Team to residents of Chantry Lodge in Andover, they made a donation of £113.
  • Donna Meagre’s Dance Mode dance show raised £803.
  • Little London & Smannell Parish Council VE Day raffle raised £61.
  • Andover Methodist Church’s Wednesday lunch club raised £45.50.
  • Tom Butler (pictured) successfully took on the challenge of running the Paris Marathon in April. He was running in memory of his godfather who was cared for by the hospice last year and raised over £5,000 for the hospice which is amazing!
  • Software company Montala Ltd, a 100% employee-owned business, collectively decided to donation 10% of their profits to charity. We are extremely grateful to have been chosen this year and have received £1,770.
