Inpatient Care
Patients come to us for many different reasons – for help with managing their symptoms, rehabilitation, assessment, respite care, or to spend their final days here.
As a patient, you will be looked after by a caring, compassionate team of consultants, doctors, nurses, therapists, family support workers, and volunteers. We also offer support for families and friends, including at the time of bereavement.
About our bedrooms
At the hospice, we have ten ensuite bedrooms, each with a private patio leading onto our gardens. They are all light and spacious, offering a comforting and relaxed environment for patients. Each room has a ‘cuddle bed’, the gold standard in care beds which, at the touch of a button, can be extended to accommodate a partner, family member or someone who needs more space. Our rooms also have a multi-position chair for patients and a sofa bed for relatives to stay overnight with their loved one.
Supporting family members and friends
We also have a family room with a fully equipped kitchen, a private room (our ‘sanctuary’) for quiet moments, and a multi-use mezzanine which can be used for family gatherings. Family members and friends, including pets, are welcome to visit at any time.
