We wouldn’t be able to care for all the people we do without the support of our wonderful community taking on their own fundraising and raising vital funds for the hospice.
From hosting coffee mornings to pub quizzes to skydiving and running marathons, we never cease to be amazed by your creativity, dedication and generosity.
If you would like to get involved, here’s a quick step-by-step guide to what you need to do.

Where To Begin?
Whether you’re an individual or a family, a group of friends or a community group, a sports or social club, a school, college, business or church, we are delighted you would like to support us.
It’s entirely up to you what sort of event you’d like to do. For example, it could be a party in a local social club or a coffee morning in your very own home. Whatever you decide to do, everything and anything you do means the world to the people we care for and helps ensure we can continue to be there when families need us the most.
Step 1
Decide what you would like to do and pick a time and place that works for you and your guests – and set a fundraising target too. Why not check out some of our news stories here to get some inspiration!
Step 2
Involve your friends and family – they’ll be more than happy to help, all you have to do is ask!
Step 3
Set up an online fundraising page – this is simple and quick to do and can really help increase donations. Please do get in touch if you would like us to help you to do this.
Step 4
Tell us about your event so we can support you and provide fundraising bits and bobs!
Step 5
Spread the word, let everyone know it’s taking place!
Step 6
Host your fundraiser…and have fun!

Don‘t forget about Gift Aid!
If people are making donations or you’re doing a sponsored challenge, remember to ask people to tick the Gift Aid box – this will increase their donation by 25% at no cost to them or you! Let us know if you would like Gift Aid envelopes if you’re holding an in-person event.
